Hi, I'm Maya McPartland, a CS + Psychology student at UNC Chapel Hill. I'm interested in building and studying technology that meaningfully supports mental health. My interests center on anxiety disorders (particularly social anxiety), cognitive-behavioral approaches to treatment, and the ways technology can both harm and help psychological well-being. I'm especially drawn to work at the intersection of clinical psychology, quantitative methods, and software, using data-driven, human-centered tech to improve how we understand and treat mental health.

In my free time, you can find me lifting weights, playing bass guitar, reading interactive fiction, and writing stories that will never see the light of day.
